Join the Isosceles Alliance for Illuminating Fall River, a public art initiative dedicated to lighting the city’s murals and architectural landmarks—bringing new life, visibility, and vibrancy to Fall River after dark. The first installation highlights “We Here” (2022) by internationally recognized artist Add Fuel, located at 207 Pocasset Street. This stunning mural celebrates Fall River’s enduring Portuguese culture and community through contemporary ceramic-inspired design. With the addition of architectural lighting, the mural will now shine into the evening—enhancing the nighttime streetscape, improving visibility, and creating a more welcoming and dynamic downtown environment. This event celebrates the first step in a larger vision to illuminate Fall River’s hillsides, public art, and historic architecture—using creative placemaking to bring energy, beauty, and civic pride to our city. Open Draw for Teens
Fall River Public Library 104 North Main St, Fall River, MAOpen Draw for Teens provides a space in the library every other Saturday for teens to draw and socialize with other creative peers! Every session we will have ample time to free draw, and occasionally will host workshops on paper crafts like making zines, flipbooks, pop-up comics, as well as assorted drawing exercises. Bring your sketchbooks, drawing pads, loose paper, old magazines, your favorite pens and pencils… whatever it is you use to draw! Some basic materials will also be available to use each session. For teens ages 13 - 18.
