Craft Workshop: Jewelry Making

Join Stephanie Enloe of Craftyish Shop to design your own one-of-a-kind jewelry creations! Stephanie will have all of the supplies and tools you need to make necklaces, bracelets, earrings and keychains! All we need is your creativity. Come create something beautiful for yourself or to give as a gift. Sponsored by the Friends of the Fall River Public Library. Registration for this program opens on Tuesday, April 2 at 10 am. You may register in person at the adult circulation desk or by calling 508-324-2700, ext. 2. Kick off your sewing journey with Apparel Technical Designer & owner of JAM Sewing Academy, Julia Medeiros. This 5-week course will teach you all you need to know about sewing on a machine. It will cover machine threading, different stitches and seams, and how to master a clean straight stitch and seam. It will also go through how to make a tote bag step-by-by step starting with pattern reading and fabric cutting. (Adults and ages 12+ are welcome - special consideration wil be given to children under the age of 12 if they attend with a parent/guardian).

Building a Better Business Bootcamp

The bootcamp is an in-person, day long event which covers the legal, marketing and financial responsibilities of running and growing a business. The end goal is for you to write a working business plan that will provide financial opportunities for your newest idea or growing business. This bootcamp gives small business owners the chance tocome together and learn as a group. Join us to collaborate, inspire and network with others who are looking to become your future community partner. Individuals in start-up phase are also welcome.

Uli Jon Roth & His Band – Interstellar Sky Guitar Tour 2024

Thursday, April 25, 2024 $47 Advance | $52 Day of Show Doors 7pm | Show 8pm Uli Jon Roth is a German guitarist who became famous for his work with the rock band Scorpions and is one of the earliest contributors to the neoclassical metal genre. As an artist, Uli is a phenomenon and his unique set of artistic talents has gained him an international reputation as a musical visionary and innovator early on in his career. After releasing four studio albums as well as the critically acclaimed live album “Tokyo Tapes” with Scorpions, Uli formed his own band called Electric Sun, which produced three albums each dedicated to a specific individual, those being, Jimi Hendrix, Anwar Sadat, and Martin Luther King. For this show at The Narrows, Uli will perform songs from his time with Scorpions and Electric Sun, along with Hendrix covers and his own solo material for an unforgettable night of music.
