The Children’s Room invites our middle grade readers (ages 8-12) to join our monthly book club! On the third Tuesday of every month, we will meet to discuss the assigned title which will be chosen from a selection of popular fiction and nonfiction. Copies of the assigned title will be provided for members to keep! Each month’s title and any related materials will be announced and distributed at the end of the previous session.

Both returning and new members are invited to join us on the third Wednesday of each month for a different kind of book club--one with no required books to read! Instead, everyone can share their own recommendations of a book they're enjoyed recently as we meet for general book chat and afternoon tea. Light refreshments will be served. Join Stephanie Enloe of Craftyish Shop to create a one-of-a-kind plant artwork on canvas. In this class, we will create our plant pots using seashells, sea glass and other natural materials. Next, we will paint them into plants with watercolors and fine point markers. Registration is required. Recommended for adults.
