Join us on Sunday, July 12th from 12PM–9PM for an all-day celebration of blues music, craft beer, food trucks, local vendors, and great summer energy as we keep the Fourth of July spirit rolling. Live music kicks off at 2PM with The Pearly Baker Band bringing the blues to the celebration, followed by Josh Kerwin closing out the evening live inside the tap room. Artists Share! is a place to share your creative work, get support and feedback, and be part of a wonderful discussion. Hosted by Midori Creativity, we're all about cross-pollination welcoming painters, jewelry makers, fiber artists, photographers, musicians, scultptors and more. Our exhibit, Creative Catalysts, celebrates the interplay and creative exploration that happens when artists of different genres work together. Anyone is welcome and we take turns sharing. Sometimes we are looking at a body of work and other times we are talking about creative identity. The group meets every month, aiming to help each other progress and grow in our work by sharing and exploring together. It's a chance to learn from people whose work may be different from your own but who have insights you could never imagine. We laugh, share ideas, and have fun! Participants can also attend via Zoom.   • Asian Stab Bookbinding

    Make a handmade stab bound book as a medium to display your art, illustrations, photographs or stories. We’ll go over basic tools of bookbinding and learn how to incorporate your own artwork in books. Participants are encouraged to bring their own writing or artwork (all same size) to bind or make a blank book to fill. No prior experience necessary. Space is limited; registration is required. Recommended for adults. Main learning objective/take-aways of the class: 1.Familiarize with basic bookbinding tools and bookbinding terminology 2.Learn the intrinsic qualities of paper and folding. 3. Discover ways to tell stories through the art of the book.

  • Writer’s Group Intensive Feedback Sessions

    Sponsored by the Fall River Public Library Writer’s Group, members have the opportunity to register for monthly feedback intensive sessions. Submit up to 30 pages for in-depth feedback from peers. You must attend at least three regular Writer’s Group meetings to be eligible for feedback intensives.
