February 22, 2026 Junior Space Science Investigator- Join us at Battleship Cove as we venture through our Solar System and beyond, and see that space is even bigger than you may have imagined. Girl Scouts will learn about our Solar System and the distance between planets. Additionally, because the planets are never alone in the night sky, Girl Scouts will learn about the stars above them and how sailors used the stars throughout the last centuries to navigate at night. Open to Juniors. Junior: Space Science Investigator Badge included. This does not include touring of the ship as this is an afterhours workshop. This is not a drop off event. Coastal Canvas Garden Art
Fall River Public Library 104 North Main St, Fall River, MAJoin Stephanie Enloe of Craftyish Shop to create a one-of-a-kind plant artwork on canvas. In this class, we will create our plant pots using seashells, sea glass and other natural materials. Next, we will paint them into plants with watercolors and fine point markers. Registration is required. Recommended for adults. This program is supported in part by a grant from the Fall River Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
