Cinco de Mayo Old School Dance Party
Liberal Club 20 Star St, Fall River, MA, United StatesGet ready to Cinco de Drinko and dance the night away at our Old School “Cinco de Mayo” Dance Party with DJ Armand Berube! This event will be held in our Gold Room hall. More capacity and more fun things are planned for this fiesta. We will have a margarita station set up where you will be able to purchase assorted flavored margaritas (frozen or on the rocks). The Liberal Club Restaurant is open until 8:00pm. We will also have a taco food truck “Green Jar Cocina” stationed outside that will be serving up some of your Mexican favorites. Light snacks available for purchase inside. Let’s celebrate together and shake our maracas like no one is watching! Doors open at 7:00pm - music starts at 8:00pm. NO COVER - 21+

Fall River YMCA 199 North Main St, Fall River, MAKick off your sewing journey with Apparel Technical Designer & owner of JAM Sewing Academy, Julia Medeiros. This 5-week course will teach you all you need to know about sewing on a machine. It will cover machine threading, different stitches and seams, and how to master a clean straight stitch and seam. It will also go through how to make a tote bag step-by-by step starting with pattern reading and fabric cutting. (Adults and ages 12+ are welcome - special consideration wil be given to children under the age of 12 if they attend with a parent/guardian).
