Bristol Community College's Holocaust and Genocide Center is hosting a one-day conference on African genocide. The keynote speech will be from Dr. Tharcisse Seminega, survivor of the 1994 Rwandan genocide, and a panel by scholars will follow, along with a musical performance by Malian musician Sidy Maiga and his band. The event is free and open to the public and lunch will be provided. The event will be at the BCC Jackson Arts Center, 777 Elsbree Street, on Friday, April 5, from 9:30 AM-2:30 PM.

Bristol Community College is proud to introduce the Wolfson Speaker Series, an annual event that will host prominent speakers from across the globe to engage our community around significant and relevant issues. The inaugural Wolfson Speaker Series will feature best-selling author, speaker and freelance photographer Pete Souza on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 6 p.m., followed by a book signing. The event will take place in the Margaret L. Jackson Arts Center (H building), on the Bristol Fall River Campus. The event is free and open to all.
