Saturday, November 15, 2025 $44 Advance | $46 Day of Show Doors 7pm | Show 8pm Growing up in in Brookline, Massachusetts, Pete and Tony Levin were trained in Classical music but were also attracted to and influenced by the 1950's jazz recordings by bassist Oscar Pettiford and French horn player Julius Watkins. Both were encouraged by Brookline’s music faculty to pursue music careers. Pete went to Boston University SFAA and then to The Juilliard School in New York City, Tony to The Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. After graduating, Tony also moved to New York City. By the 1970’s. both were active in the New York City music scene, doing recording sessions and playing live. Style-wise, Tony and Pete have had divergent careers. Their musical paths have crossed many times, backing other artists and playing in each other's bands. In the late ‘70s they toured together with Paul Simon. But other than a 1976 recording by their first group - “The Clams” - the Levin Brothers band was their first time developing a project of their own. The concert will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at 1PM at the Narrows Center for the Arts.  The 10th Annual Music of Michael Troy presents solo artists Matt Borello, John Botelho, Joanne Doherty, Louis Leeman, Sarah Soupirs, Jason Valcourt and Chuck Williams as well as trio's Redfish with Gary Fish, Steve Redfern and Ted Boudria, the Flying Laureanno Bros. trio with Mike, Tom & Frank Laureanno, the Monica Ambroziak Band with Amy Ambroziak, Ellen Breen, Carol Silvia and Donald Facchiano and the Durfee Quintet featuring Matt Desmarais and Gary Bigelow with Tom Khoury, Justin Gallager & Jason Newell. The Music of Michael Troy event is organized to carry on Michael's legacy of storytelling through music. Donations will benefit the Michael Troy Scholarship that will be awarded to 2 students that excell in Music, Song Writing or Performance funded by the Michael Troy Memorial Music Foundation.

While acting as producer/audio engineer for Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Buffalo Springfield, Messina ultimately joined the band as its bass player. When “the Springfield” disbanded in 1968, Jim and fellow bandmate Richie Furay formed Poco. With Jim on lead guitar, Poco defined a new musical genre, Country Rock. After three successful albums, Jim was ready for a change and left to return to his passion for producing music. He signed as an independent producer with Columbia Records.
