Join us for a morning of spooky stories followed by a creepy craft and other surprises at one of Fall River's oldest homes! Our Halloween story time will feature the tale "In a Dark, Dark Wood" by David A. Carter, among other gentle Halloween stories. Then, join us in the home's colonial kitchen where we will make a Halloween craft to take home. Registration for this event will begin on Wednesday, October 16th as space and supplies are limited.Contact the Fall River Public Library Children's Room at 508-324-2700, ext. 4. Glow in the Dark Skeleton Bracelet Craft Time

Come join us in the Children’s Room for a casual, fun, family-oriented activity. Children can use glow-in-the-dark skeleton, bat, and assorted Halloween beads to create their own spooky, glowing bracelet just in time for trick-or-treating!  All supplies will be provided and available at the tables in the non-fiction section of the Children’s Room. Due to the small size of the beads, this event is not ideal for children under the age of four. Adult supervision is recommended. Ronny LeBlanc: An Evening with Bigfoot

Join Discovery Channel’s Ronny LeBlanc from the television series Expedition Bigfoot, a Massachusetts native and author of the Monsterland series, as he discusses the connection between Sasquatch and UFOs, his personal experiences out in the field as well as encounters here in the Bay State! This special event is free and open to the public. It is recommended for adults and teens/older kids. Copies of Ronny's books will be available for purchase. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Fall River Public Library.
