Unicorn Day!

Join us this morning in celebrating everyone's favorite magical animal--the Unicorn! The storytime will feature a selection of entertaining stories featuring these magical creatures, including You Don't Want a Unicorn by Ame Dyckman. Children will make a unicorn craft after storytime. Special guest Unie the Unicorn will be on hand to meet children and pose for pictures. A special surprise is in store for all attending! Cactus Head Puppets

The town of Hamelin has a problem, and there's only one person who can handle it! The Cactus Head Puppets brings the story of the Pied Piper of Hamelin to life in this comedic, updated adaptation of the traditional folktale. Join puppeteers John and Megan Regan as they present this classic tale, told with multiple puppetry styles and plenty of dancing rats! CONTACT: David R. Eagles Tribute Concert

Heritage State Park Davol St, Fall River, MA

The Eagles Experience aims to be the most authentic tribute show available today. With a one-to-one lineup that reflects the Eagles during their heyday in the late 1970's, the members of The Eagles Experience emulate their respective "Eagle," playing their correct instrument and singing the songs as sung by the original band members. Don't miss this exciting evening of live music performed at the beautiful Heritage State Park at Battleship Cove (not at the library). The evening will feature a raffle as well as other surprises! Food Trucks will be available on site during the concert. In case of rain, the concert will take place on Tuesday, July 23 at 6:00 pm. This concert is made possible through the generosity of Debbie and Richard Danner.

Library Preschool Storytime at the Lafayette-Durfee House

Join us for storytime this morning at the historic Lafayette-Durfee House! The home is a fully restored Colonial house with every room appearing as if it were still 1750!  A tour of the home will take place following the storytime. Peter Cannizarro, the amazing one-man Circus, returns to the Fall River Public Library's tent for another spectacular performance! Peter is a variety artist who specializes in juggling, magic, and physical comedy. His show is full of energy and will delight audience members of all ages. Mad Science presents All About Animals!

Mad Science presents All About Animals!, introducing children to the amazing assortment of creatures inhabiting the animal kingdom! Children will learn about astounding creatures as they experiment with camouflage and get hands-on with with real tooth and claw replicas.The Animal Tracks Take-Home activity lets children create casts of animal tracks just like real naturalists! In case of rain, the event will be held in the Meeting Room.  Registration is required for this program as space and supplies are limited. Teddy Bear Picnic & Storytime

Estuary on Wheels!

The Lloyd Center's Estuary on Wheels will provide children with a unique, hands-on look at some of the amazing creatures that make the estuary their home.The Lloyd Center's knowledgable instructors will share many interesting, fun facts about sea snails, quahog clams, sea jellies, spider crabs, and other estuary inhabitants.
