    Discover how the brave and daring Sir George saves his princess from the not-so-dastardly dragon in this humorous retelling of an old classic! John McDonough and his Pumpernickel Puppets have been performing throughout New England for over 40 years.  He has performed at the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC, and the prestigious International Festival of Puppetry sponsored by the Jim Henson Foundation in New York.

    Learn how to make a drum leaf book to display your photos or art. A drum leaf book is an adhesive only structure that lays perfectly flat with full spread imagery. We’ll go over basic tools of bookbinding. No prior experience necessary. Space is limited; registration is required. Recommended for adults. Main learning objective/take-aways of the class: 1. Familiarize with basic bookbinding tools and bookbinding terminology 2. Learn the intrinsic qualities of paper and folding. 3. Discover ways to tell stories through the art of the book.

    CALLING ALL teenage COMICS ENTHUSIASTS!!!! Do you like comics? Graphics novels? Manga? Webcomics? Some other combination of pictures and words?? Then the Young Adult Comics Club is the place for you! The second Thursday of each month we meet to discuss all things comics - making, thinking, reading, sharing, etc. Share your favorite manga with peers! Show off the comic you’ve been making to other comic artists! Finally start that cool comic idea you’ve been meaning to draw! Learn what comics are all about!!! Each month we will have an optional comic prompt to make and share for the following meeting. Make us some words and pictures!! For teens ages 13 - 18.

Whether performing solo or with her tribute band, Sara captivates with versatility, authenticity, and powerhouse vocals.

Children will receive a certificate of achievement as well as a book award and a free day pass to the Fall River Carousel. The morning will also feature the magic of Merlin, who will entertain and amaze all with his astounding feats of prestidigitation! Special thanks to Fall River Carousel and Gathering Grounds Cafe for supplying free day passes to all Summer Reading Club members.
