    Saturday, March 7, 2026 $30 Advance | $32 Day of Show Doors 7pm | Show 8pm Taking listeners to a place where rock, backwater blues and Appalachian music come together in unexpected combinations, The Tarbox Ramblers have drawn praise from The New Yorker and Rolling Stone to All Things Considered. The Washington Post calls them “a force of nature.” Robert Plant saw the band play and recruited them, on the spot, to open a string of concert dates for him. The Ramblers’ repertoire reaches way back, to the earliest recordings of what people now call Americana. Their approach is reverent, but only in the sense that they love the old songs. Beyond that, they play them as a roadhouse band of the 1950s might have, as songs band members all heard growing up, but were reinventing with drums and electricity. They’ve got the spirit of Memphis in their veins, and it makes for thrilling listening. Hosted by Midori Creativity, we're all about cross-pollination welcoming painters, jewelry makers, fiber artists, photographers, musicians, scultptors and more. Our exhibit, Creative Catalysts, celebrates the interplay and creative exploration that happens when artists of different genres work together. Anyone is welcome and we take turns sharing. Sometimes we are looking at a body of work and other times we are talking about creative identity. The group meets every month, aiming to help each other progress and grow in our work by sharing and exploring together.
