Fall River Public Library 104 North Main St, Fall River, MAMeet the Phelan Monsters, a cast of colorful puppet characters and their creator Mrs. Kim for this fun-filled storytelling event! Through storytelling and play, children are introduced to meaningful words and concepts such as positivity, perseverance, confidence and kindness all in an engaging, accessible way. All participants will leave with a small take-home item. Open Draw for Teens
Fall River Public Library 104 North Main St, Fall River, MAOpen Draw for Teens provides a space in the library every other Saturday for teens to draw and socialize with other creative peers! Every session we will have ample time to free draw, and occasionally will host workshops on paper crafts like making zines, flipbooks, pop-up comics, as well as assorted drawing exercises. Bring your sketchbooks, drawing pads, loose paper, old magazines, your favorite pens and pencils… whatever it is you use to draw! Some basic materials will also be available to use each session. For teens ages 13 - 18.
