Narrows Center for the Arts 16 Anawan St., Fall River, MA

Wednesday, October 28, 2026 $35 Advance | $38 Day of Show Doors 7pm | Show 8pm Texas blues-rock singer/songwriter and guitarist extraordinaire, Ally Venable, entertains wherever she goes. With her signature glitter dresses and black knee-high boots, Venable comes off of the ropes swinging dazzling crowds on tour or throughout the festival circuit. "Venable pulls off a stunner of gritty and/or sultry blues rock tunes embellished with lots of tasty guitar solos." - Guitar Player Magazine. A Kilgore, Texas native, Ally began singing at church at four and picked up the guitar at age 12. By 13, she started her own band and through her early influence of Stevie Ray Vaughan captured the passion and yearning for more in the blues genre. Early releases No Glass Shoes (2016) and Puppet Show (2018) started her fanbase, charting radio play, and several East Texas Music Awards. It was 2019’s #2 Billboard Blues charting Texas Honey and rocking sets on Ruf’s European Blues Caravan tour that propelled her internationally. “Ally is the future of blues and the crossover music of American roots-rock.” - Mike Zito. In what silenced many musicians during the pandemic, Venable now in her 20’s, released another Blues Billboard charting album, Heart of Fire (2021), which challenged her to write not only about love but the unguarded honesty of […]

  • East Nash Grass

Narrows Center for the Arts 16 Anawan St., Fall River, MA

Thursday, October 29, 2026 $30 Advance | $32 Day of Show Doors 7pm | Show 8pm How did East Nash Grass follow up their 2024 International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) award for Best New Artist? By earning a nomination for Entertainer of the Year, IBMA’s highest honor, in 2025, and celebrating fiddler Maddie Denton’s win as Fiddler of the Year. In short, East Nash Grass have quickly established themselves as the fresh new face of Nashville’s storied bluegrass tradition, a supergroup of rising stars: Grand Master Fiddle champion Denton is joined by banjo player Cory Walker (banjo player on the five-time nominated “Carter & Cleveland” album this year, among numerous accolades), 2022 IBMA Momentum Instrumentalist of the Year Harry Clark, and new guitar player Frank Rische. This is an all-star band that harkens back to the sort of talent collected in the original Blue Grass Boys and a powerhouse leader of the next generation in bluegrass excellence. Rolling Stone had them among the “best of what we saw” at RockyGrass in 2025, praising their “rowdy set of high-octane bluegrass numbers,” and noting, “The group itself is a rapidly-rising force on the national touring scene.” And “rowdy” is right. They are far more than […]

  • Amani Burnham live at the Narrows

Narrows Center for the Arts 16 Anawan St., Fall River, MA

Saturday, November 7, 2026 $33 Advance | $36 Day of Show Doors 7pm | Show 8pm “Meet Amani Burnham, the budding blues-rock hero blending fingerstyle technique with SRV tone. Burnham is blowing minds with his fretwork.” – Guitar World Seventy years after its initial recording, blues-rock artist Amani Burnham posted a video of himself playing Muddy Waters’ “Hoochie Coochie Man.” It was surreal to see a 19-year-old on Instagram wielding a white Fender Stratocaster with such dexterous ferocity and sensual charisma. But there Amani was, seated on the floor in Gen Z’s standard uniform of sweatpants and a hoodie, holding the guitar like a sword between his legs and playing the hell out of it. In his hands, the Willie Dixon blues standard sounded sexy and dangerous again. At the time, Amani hadn’t been playing guitar for very long, and the post was simply a natural extension of his love for blues-rock. Yet his fluid soloing and electrifying showmanship captured the imagination of blues fans and seasoned professional musicians alike, inadvertently heralding the arrival of a new blues dynamo. “Most 20-year-olds haven’t heard of ‘Hoochie Coochie Man,’” shares the Middletown, Connecticut–based artist. “But I bring an energy and a life force to the music […]
