The Greater Fall River Art Association has Kids Art workshops taught by Mr. Ernie. For kids ages 6-9 years old we have Saturday morning and Sunday morning options. For kids aged 10-12 years old we have one Saturday morning workshop. Sign up your little ones and watch them grow in art fundamentals! Maximum of 8 kids per session. First Baptist Church will be hosting a Christmas concert in the coming weeks. This concert has always benefitted worthy causes in our community. This year, the proceeds from the concert will benefit the Branch Community Supper and Homeless Ministries at First Baptist Church. Our feeding ministry is marking the 42nd anniversary of feeding those in need of a meal with no questions asked. In 2026, we expect to serve 13-15,000 meals, if not more. If you didn’t know, Newport Navy Choristers is a singing group of retired and active-duty members of the United States Navy and have been coming to First Baptist Church for 47 years. This concert will be held at our church on Sunday, December 7th at 4:00 pm. With the cost of groceries skyrocketing as well as housing costs, we have seen an increase in people showing up on Tuesdays and Thursdays in need of a nutritious meal. Secondly, higher food costs are putting pressure on our annual budget, forcing us to increase our efforts to raise the funds to cover all the costs of this outreach. You can help with our efforts.
