Middle Grade Book Club
Fall River Public Library 104 North Main St, Fall River, MAThe Children’s Room invites our middle grade readers (ages 8-12) to join our monthly book club! On the third Tuesday of every month, we will meet to discuss the assigned title which will be chosen from a selection of popular fiction and nonfiction. Copies of the assigned title will be provided for members to keep! Each month’s title and any related materials will be announced and distributed at the end of the previous session.

Open Draw for Teens
Fall River Public Library 104 North Main St, Fall River, MAOpen Draw for Teens provides a space in the library every other Saturday for teens to draw and socialize with other creative peers! Every session we will have ample time to free draw, and occasionally will host workshops on paper crafts like making zines, flipbooks, pop-up comics, as well as assorted drawing exercises. Bring your sketchbooks, drawing pads, loose paper, old magazines, your favorite pens and pencils… whatever it is you use to draw! Some basic materials will also be available to use each session. For teens ages 13 - 18.

February 22, 2026 Junior Space Science Investigator- Join us at Battleship Cove as we venture through our Solar System and beyond, and see that space is even bigger than you may have imagined. Girl Scouts will learn about our Solar System and the distance between planets. Additionally, because the planets are never alone in the night sky, Girl Scouts will learn about the stars above them and how sailors used the stars throughout the last centuries to navigate at night. Fall River Public Library 104 North Main St, Fall River, MAOur monthly Magic: the Gathering group meets on the last Wednesday of each month.* Come play a few games in the world's most popular trading card game! Participants are invited to bring their own decks or build their own with a selection of the hundreds of cards we have at the library. Don't know how to play? We'll be glad to show you how! This program is intended for teens ages 12 to 18. No prior experience with the game is required to participate. We'll be meeting in the Fell Reading Room in the library. *If the last Wednesday of the month falls on a holiday, the meetup will be rescheduled, probably to the week before.
