TICKETS oin us for our Spring 2026 Girl Scout workshop. February 22, 2026 Junior Space Science Investigator- Join us at Battleship Cove as we venture through our Solar System and beyond, and see that space is even bigger than you may have imagined. Girl Scouts will learn about our Solar System and the distance between planets. Additionally, because the planets are never alone in the night sky, Girl Scouts will learn about the stars above them and how sailors used the stars throughout the last centuries to navigate at night. Open to Juniors. Junior: Space Science Investigator Badge included. This does not include touring of the ship as this is an afterhours workshop. This is not a drop off event. A Beginner-friendly class, focusing on proper alignment, breath work, grounding and strength thru the postures. Compassionately guided, this class honors the traditional tenets of yoga while keeping it light and joyous. Class is set to room temp.We have bolsters, blocks, straps and blankets, as well as extra mats. The Fall River Public Library invites all photography enthusiasts to join our new Photography Group. On the last Wednesday of each month, participants will share their work, provide feedback, and join in open discussion about the wonderful art of photography! A monthly, optional theme will be picked at random to help inspire and prompt our members to make new and exciting work to share each session. Participants are asked to bring in a thumbdrive of their work, with a selection of 5-10 photos, if they intend to share with the group that month. While we gladly accept photographers at all stages of their journeys, the Photography Group does not offer photography lessons. We do encourage our participants to ask questions about photography, and to share tips and tricks they’ve learned with each other. This program is intended for photographers ages 13 and up.
