Thursday, December 18, 2025 $31 Advance | $33 Day of Show Doors 7pm | Show 8pm Bywater Call, is a powerhouse seven-piece Southern soul, roots rock band from Toronto, Canada, made up of Meghan Parnell (vocals), Dave Barnes (guitar), Bruce McCarthy on drums, Mike Meusel on Bass, newest member, John Kervin on Keys, Stephen Dyte on Trumpet and Julian Nalli on Tenor Sax. Bywater Call has received multiple Independent Blues and Maple Blues Award nominations including Entertainer, Electric Act and Best Female Vocalist for the 2024 Awards Season. They have toured extensively in Europe where shows have been praised by Dutch, German and UK media, with references to Meghan as one of the best female voices in blues and roots today. In August 2023, the band participated in Joe Bonamassa’s third Keeping the Blues Alive at Sea Mediterranean Cruise alongside headliners Blackberry Smoke and Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, and were invited to perform at the All-Star Jam on the mainstage with Bonamassa himself. Guitarist Dave Barnes was also asked to join legendary blues artist Jimmy Vivino (Conan O’Brien’s Basic Cable Band) on stage. October 10th - January 25th, 2025 Hours: Friday-Sunday, 12-5pm 44 Troy St, Fall River, MA Free & Open to the Public Featuring work by: Alex Tum, Karyn Nakamura, Serena Chang, and Hanna Umin.Post Scarcity Sculpture at FR MoCA gathers four artists—Alex Tum, Karyn Nakamura, Serena Chang, and Hanna Umin—whose practices operate as Futique Agents, working in the field of Art with material residue and technological detritus in a post-prophetic tense. Post Scarcity, the conceptual ground of the exhibition, names a politics that imagines an end to artificial scarcity enforced by capital, envisioning a condition where technological development and collective organization liberate human and non-human energies from cycles of deprivation. In this exhibition, sculpture is redefined through soldered brass, cast plaster, resin, foam, computational circuits, video systems, and found refuse. The show centers a biomechanical site where the synaptic future and the industrial past converge. These objects function as future antiques, coded with fragments of war material, biological trace, and machinic residue, at once evidentiary and prophetic. Take a trip back in time to a Christmas dinner in the battleship’s officers’ wardroom! Experience a vintage meal while enjoying a vintage performance by the Company Bees. Please join us for this delicious and unforgettable Christmas memory!Enjoy a family-style dinner with your friends and family or new friends you have yet to meet. All tickets include dinner, exploration of the ships prior to dinner, a cash bar, and a musical performance by the Company Bees. Timeline• 5:30 PM- 6:45 PM: Check in, exploration of the ships and gift shop will be open until check-in is complete.• 6:30 PM- 7:00 PM: Seating, bar opens, below decks close, and musical performance starts.• 7:00 PM- 9:00 PM: Dinner served and musical performance.• 9:00 PM: Conclusion.Dinner:Dinner will be served family style and is a take on what our sailors ate in their 1941 Christmas meal. Born and raised in New Bedford Massachusetts, Quinn grew up in a musical household listening to classic rock, jazz and blues. Quinn credits his early obsession with The Beatles as the impetus for him to pursue music as a career. He received his first guitar at the tender age of three and quickly demonstrated exceptional talent. He gained national attention with appearances on afternoon and late night television shows (Tonight Show, Ellen, Jimmy Kimmel, and Conan O'Brien). In 2007, Quinn met music legend Buddy Guy, who invited him onstage and would later invite him to tour and record with him throughout the next decade.
