October 5, 2025 Brownie Craft & Tinker and Fling Flyer- Join us at Battleship Cove as we teach you about aerodynamics and how the science of flight has changed over the last 150 years. Girl Scouts will make their own fling flyer and determine if their invention can soar through the skies. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to create your own catapult and learn about mechanical engineering. Trial, error, and rebuilding are the key lessons to problem solving and crafting solutions! Open to Brownie Girl Scouts. Both the Brownie Craft and Tinker Badge, and the Brownie Mechanical Engineering: Fling Flyer Badge, are included. This does not include touring of the ship as this is an afterhours workshop.
