With the majestic Braga Bridge illuminating the night and the gentle flow of the Taunton River nearby, indulge in a feast for all senses. Enjoy a dozen or more food trucks at each event from a rotation of over 65 food trucks. In addition to great food, there will be live bands and Party with Primo and Troy City Brewing will be will be serving up will be serving up local beer & wine. This volunteer-led experience unites communities to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost to cancer, and raise funds to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer!

Meditations on Landscape III continues to explore the living landscape of the SouthCoast through photography, writing, conversation, and creative endeavors. This year we have even more experiential workshops as we play with the intentionality of creativity and welcome a larger discussion about the role and place of landscape in a rural area. Meditations on Landscape is a ten-day exhibit and festival celebrating the landscapes of the SouthCoast. Summer Solstice Music Festival

This June, The Heron Center is hosting our 2nd annual Summer Solstice Music Festival in collaboration with the Wicked Queer Puppet Theater. Our 2024 three day Festival will work together with local and national singer songwriters in support of raising awareness towards environmental justice and serve as a fundraiser to support three areas of our programs; Nature Conservation (for our 22 acre Wildlife Sanctuary - with free access for passive recreation to the public), Artist Residencies and Wellness Education (in hopes to provide a year-round educational facility in Westport

Norton City Pier Food Truck Fridays

The City of Fall River, Fall River Redevelopment Authority, and Viva Fall River are thrilled to announce Thomas Norton City Pier Food Truck Fridays! Food Truck Fridays will be held on the last Friday of June, July, and August from 4-8 p.m. at 600 Davol Street. Each month will host a different selection of food trucks.
