Inspired by a time when the Blues were plentiful and rhythm reigned supreme, Jontavious leverages his unique sound—a synthesis of his Georgia heritage and reverence for traditional Blues—to get the world dancing again. A Grammy-nominated musician and songwriter, Jontavious performs original, toe-tapping tunes in the style of Delta, Piedmont, Texas, and Gospel Blues. The hit single “ON THE DARK SIDE" held the “#1” position on the Billboard Rock charts and the MTV video charts for five consecutive weeks.     The Fall River Public Library invites all photography enthusiasts to join our new Photography Group. On the last Wednesday of each month, participants will share their work, provide feedback, and join in open discussion about the wonderful art of photography! A monthly, optional theme will be picked at random to help inspire and prompt our members to make new and exciting work to share each session. Participants are asked to bring in a thumbdrive of their work, with a selection of 5-10 photos, if they intend to share with the group that month. While we gladly accept photographers at all stages of their journeys, the Photography Group does not offer photography lessons. We do encourage our participants to ask questions about photography, and to share tips and tricks they’ve learned with each other. This program is intended for photographers ages 13 and up.

    Get feedback on your work and meet local creatives at this Monthly Artists Share! group, facilitated by Midori Creativity. Artists Share! is a place to share your creative work, get support and feedback, and be part of a wonderful discussion. Hosted by Midori Creativity, we're all about cross-pollination welcoming painters, jewelry makers, fiber artists, photographers, musicians, scultptors and more. Our exhibit, Creative Catalysts, celebrates the interplay and creative exploration that happens when artists of different genres work together. Anyone is welcome and we take turns sharing. Sometimes we are looking at a body of work and other times we are talking about creative identity. The group meets every month, aiming to help each other progress and grow in our work by sharing and exploring together. It's a chance to learn from people whose work may be different from your own but who have insights you could never imagine. We laugh, share ideas, and have fun! Participants can also attend via Zoom.
