Direct from under the sea, the Little Mermaid will visit her friends on land in the very special Meet and Greet!  Ariel will read her story, pose for pictures and share some songs! Children will also receive a glittery temporary tattoo!  A raffle for an Under the Sea gift basket of goodies will conclude the show. For all ages.
Mark Your Calendars for the Greater Fall River City Nature Challenge! April 24 to April 27, 2026 Join the Trustees and Mass Audubon for a free guided exploration of the Quequechan River Rail Trail! Participants will learn how to identify different species of wildlife during this experience, as a part of the Greater Fall River City Nature Challenge. The City Nature Challenge is a free worldwide event where the public helps conservation science by taking photos of wild organisms in their own city and uploading them to iNaturalist – a website dedicated to identifying wildlife, for everyone! In the Greater Fall River area, The Trustees and Mass Audubon are teaming up to make it simple for everyone to join in. We’re hosting four free guided walks through different local habitats and offering free iNaturalist trainings so educators and community leaders can confidently run their own BioBlitz-style walks. Presented by the Bristol Black Collective. Join us for a hands-on workshop. Participants can explore the techniques of stitching and visible mending while learning how to replace buttons, repair zippers, and more! Participants are encouraged to bring an item to repair.
Open Draw for Teens provides a space in the library every other Saturday for teens to draw and socialize with other creative peers! Every session we will have ample time to free draw, and occasionally will host workshops on paper crafts like making zines, flipbooks, pop-up comics, as well as assorted drawing exercises. Bring your sketchbooks, drawing pads, loose paper, old magazines, your favorite pens and pencils… whatever it is you use to draw! Some basic materials will also be available to use each session. For teens ages 13 - 18.
