Preschool Storytime
Fall River Public Library 104 North Main St, Fall River, MAJoin Children's Room staff for a fun morning of stories! Each storytime includes 30 minutes of stories from popular children's books followed by a short literacy-based movie and an easy-to-make craft. Introduce your preschooler to the exciting world of children's literature! Recommended for ages 3 to 5.

Community Resource Day
Fall River Public Library 104 North Main St, Fall River, MAEvery two weeks, join the library and several community partners for our community resource day! Organizations will be on hand to provide information and assistance for various community needs such as healthcare, homelessness, immigration, mental health issues, food insecurity, and more. This event is open to all members of the public and no registration is required.

Middle Grade Book Club
Fall River Public Library 104 North Main St, Fall River, MAThe Children’s Room invites our middle grade readers (ages 8-12) to join our monthly book club! On the third Tuesday of every month, we will meet to discuss the assigned title which will be chosen from a selection of popular fiction and nonfiction. Copies of the assigned title will be provided for members to keep! Each month’s title and any related materials will be announced and distributed at the end of the previous session.

Books & Tea Club
Fall River Public Library 104 North Main St, Fall River, MABoth returning and new members are invited to join us on the third Wednesday of each month for a different kind of book club--one with no required books to read! Instead, everyone can share their own recommendations of a book they're enjoyed recently as we meet for general book chat and afternoon tea. Light refreshments will be served. Fantasy & Sci-Fi Book Club
Fall River Public Library 104 North Main St, Fall River, MAScience fiction and fantasy lovers are invited to join us for our monthly book discussion group! On the third Thursday of each month, we will meet at 6 pm to talk about a different sci-fi or fantasy book, ranging from new titles to classics. Each month's selection will be announced on this calendar and at the previous meeting. In July, we are discussing The Goblin Emperor by Katherine Addison. On stage, Jimmy draws from a wide range of life experiences including his last 20 years as a janitor, being a dad, and his long-term sobriety. In addition to being an in-demand national headliner, he has worked alongside comedy stars including Shane Gillis, Bill Burr, Joe Dombrowski, Lenny Clarke, Robert Kelly, and was comedian Bob Marley's dedicated opener for several years. You may recognize Jimmy from his massive following on TikTok & Instagram, or his viral videos that have been featured on Barstool Sports, The Today Show, & more. He proudly plays the Fenway Park Groundskeeper in the long running Plymouth Rock Assurance ad campaign, The Bostonians. His life and career have been featured in countless publications and news stations including The Boston Globe. Jimmy travels across the USA and Canada performing at clubs, theaters, and private shows at schools for teachers and support staff. He most recently sold out the legendary Wilbur Theater in Boston, MA.
