Open Draw for Teens provides a space in the library every other Saturday for teens to draw and socialize with other creative peers! Every session we will have ample time to free draw, and occasionally will host workshops on paper crafts like making zines, flipbooks, pop-up comics, as well as assorted drawing exercises. Bring your sketchbooks, drawing pads, loose paper, old magazines, your favorite pens and pencils… whatever it is you use to draw! Some basic materials will also be available to use each session. For teens ages 13 - 18.

Raised in Muskegon, MI, he immersed himself in community theatre, numerous school choirs and productions, and classic rock fueled boat shed jams. A collegiate endeavor in English Literature lead to Kalamazoo, MI which catalyzed the formation and became the home base for Greensky. From humble beginnings, the band quickly became a festival favorite, having performed at such iconic events as Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits Festival, Stagecoach, Telluride Bluegrass Festival and countless others in addition to headlining sold out performances at revered venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheater, Ryman Auditorium, and The Chicago Theatre. "Greensky are hardly strictly bluegrass and, yet, representing the genre for a whole new generation," claimed Rolling Stone in 2010. Recorded works have landed on several Billboard charts including #1 placement on the Bluegrass charts.
