At the age of fifteen, Peter achieved international fame as “Herman”, lead singer of the legendary pop band Herman’s Hermits. HANDS ON! Adopt a stone and perform the cleaning process yourself. The most common repair techniques will be discussed and performed including resetting a badly leaning or sunken tablet stone and joining broken gravestone fragments using epoxy, clamps, and bracing techniques. *If time allows* we will employ an overhead, lifting tripod and demonstrate how to rig and lift monuments safely. *If time allows* we will review materials required and the process involved in replacing eroded or lost stone with the use of a stone infill material, including preparation, application and curing of mortars.-We recommend bringing water, snacks and any other essentials you feel that you may […]

  • Intro to Tarot Workshop

    This 90 minute workshop is open to complete beginners or seasoned practitioners. You will need a tarot deck and a journal and pen to bring to the class.     This is not your old summer camp beading program! Designed for adults, this relaxing activity invites participants to kick back on the library lawn while creating their own custom glass-beaded chain, the perfect accessory for sunglasses or reading glasses! In the event of inclement weather, the program will be moved to the Meeting Room. Supplies are limited; registration opens Monday, May 11th!
