• Meet The Little Mermaid!

    Direct from under the sea, the Little Mermaid will visit her friends on land in the very special Meet and Greet!  Ariel will read her story, pose for pictures and share some songs!  Children will also receive a glittery temporary tattoo!  A raffle for an Under the Sea gift basket of goodies will conclude the show.  For all ages.

    Mark Your Calendars for the Greater Fall River City Nature Challenge! April 24 to April 27, 2026 Join the Trustees and Mass Audubon for a free guided exploration of the Quequechan River Rail Trail! Participants will learn how to identify different species of wildlife during this experience, as a part of the Greater Fall River City Nature Challenge. The City Nature Challenge is a free worldwide event where the public helps conservation science by taking photos of wild organisms in their own city and uploading them to iNaturalist – a website dedicated to identifying wildlife, for everyone! In the Greater Fall River area, The Trustees and Mass Audubon are teaming up to make it simple for everyone to join in. We’re hosting four free guided walks through different local habitats and offering free iNaturalist trainings so educators and community leaders can confidently run their own BioBlitz-style walks.     Our monthly Magic: the Gathering group meets on the last Wednesday of each month.* Come play a few games in the world's most popular trading card game! Participants are invited to bring their own decks or build their own with a selection of the hundreds of cards we have at the library. Don't know how to play? We'll be glad to show you how! This program is intended for teens ages 12 to 18. No prior experience with the game is required to participate. We'll be meeting in the Fell Reading Room in the library. *If the last Wednesday of the month falls on a holiday, the meetup will be rescheduled, probably to the week before.
