Dino Dance Party
Fall River Public Library 104 North Main St, Fall River, MABreak out your best dance moves at this super fun Dino Dance Party! Dinosaurs will be roaming the library lawn and bopping to the beat as DJ New Wave Rhythm plays all of your favorite tunes. The evening will also include a raffle for prizes and free ice cream sandwiches for all. It’ll be a party for the ages! For ages 3 and up. Generously sponsored by Rockland Trust and the Danners.

Teddy Bear Picnic

Join us for our most popular event of the summer...the Teddy Bear Picnic! Lovers of these cuddly stuffed critters from across the city are invited to attend this annual event with their favorite stuffed animal! The morning will feature stories, crafts, a teddy bear parade and more! Have your teddy bear or other stuffed animal get its annual check-up by our Teddy Bear Doctors! Bring a blanket for the lawn, a picnic lunch and come celebrate America's best loved stuffed toy- the Teddy Bear! All ages welcome!

Pumpernickel Puppets Presents Sir George and the Dragon
Fall River Public Library 104 North Main St, Fall River, MADiscover how the brave and daring Sir George saves his princess from the not-so-dastardly dragon in this humorous retelling of an old classic! John McDonough and his Pumpernickel Puppets have been performing throughout New England for over 40 years. He has performed at the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, DC, and the prestigious International Festival of Puppetry sponsored by the Jim Henson Foundation in New York.

Drum Leaf Bookbinding
Fall River Public Library 104 North Main St, Fall River, MALearn how to make a drum leaf book to display your photos or art. A drum leaf book is an adhesive only structure that lays perfectly flat with full spread imagery. We’ll go over basic tools of bookbinding. No prior experience necessary. Space is limited; registration is required. Recommended for adults. Main learning objective/take-aways of the class: 1. Familiarize with basic bookbinding tools and bookbinding terminology 2. Learn the intrinsic qualities of paper and folding. 3. Discover ways to tell stories through the art of the book.

Summer Reading Club End of Summer Party
Fall River Public Library 104 North Main St, Fall River, MAJoin us for our annual award ceremony on the library lawn as we honor all those who actively participated in the library's Summer Reading Club! Children will receive a certificate of achievement as well as a book award and a free day pass to the Fall River Carousel. The morning will also feature the magic of Merlin, who will entertain and amaze all with his astounding feats of prestidigitation! Special thanks to Fall River Carousel and Gathering Grounds Cafe for supplying free day passes to all Summer Reading Club members.
