She's now touring her critically acclaimed album Silver City. The album draws inspiration from varied stories of womanhood in all of its complexities: a young fan struggling with substance abuse, a rural ancestor who was married off, a teen reeling from her first heartache, and Helm’s own life as a single mother and hard-touring singer. The songs blend the folk twang of Helm’s childhood with gospel and soul. Amy carries a storied “musician’s musician” reputation. The grammy-award winning producer and daughter of Levon Helm has an extensive musical pedigree. Amy embodies an authentic live musical tradition in her solo work and with the Helm Family Midnight Ramble, which carries on her father’s legacy.

Arleigh Rose Kincheloe grew up in an intensely musical family in upstate New York’s Catskill Mountains, co-founding Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds with her brother Jackson at just 18. The band made Brooklyn its homebase and soon earned a reputation as one of the hardest working outfits anywhere in the world. Playing upwards of 150 shows each year, the group sold out residencies, top festivals, and tours along top acts including Allen Stone, Trombone Shorty, JJ Grey, The Revivalists and Anders Osborne. “Sister Sparrow, Arleigh Kincheloe’s nom de disque, is a soul queen,” raved The Washington Post, while NPR noted, “one of the biggest voices in rock music.”
