Born and raised in New Bedford Massachusetts, Quinn grew up in a musical household listening to classic rock, jazz and blues. Quinn credits his early obsession with The Beatles as the impetus for him to pursue music as a career. He received his first guitar at the tender age of three and quickly demonstrated exceptional talent.
