Community Kwanzaa: Sewing Workshop

In the city of textiles join us for an interactive and festive experience as we celebrate the Kwanzaa principle of Ujimaa (collective work and responsibility). This workshop is more than just creating a beautiful table runner – it's a chance to come together, share love, laughter, and delightful food while embodying the spirit of unity and shared responsibility. Don't miss out on this joyous occasion of creativity and community building! Participants will learn sewing and embroidery techniques while creating their specially designed table runner. The event is free and open to the public. Children ages 6+ must be accompanied by an adult. Books & Tea Club
Fall River Public Library 104 North Main St, Fall River, MABoth returning and new members are invited to join us on the third Wednesday of each month for a different kind of book club--one with no required books to read! Instead, everyone can share their own recommendations of a book they're enjoyed recently as we meet for general book chat and afternoon tea. Light refreshments will be served.
