Fall River Food Truck Festival @ The Gates of the City Get ready for two summer nights packed with flavor, music, and fun in the heart of Fall River!  Join us at the iconic Gates of the City on:  Thursday, July 17th Thursday, August 14th  5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Bring your friends, family, and appetite and explore over a dozen food trucks serving up a wide variety of delicious eats — from sweet treats to savory favorites and everything in between!  Enjoy live bands throughout the evening Party with Primo and Troy City Brewing serving local beer & wine  Admission is FREE — just pay for what you eat & drink!Vendors accept cash, credit, and debit cards  Please Note: Smoking is prohibited Outside alcohol and coolers are not permitted Pets are discouraged Grab a lawn chair, bring your crew, and spend a perfect summer evening at one of Fall River’s favorite seasonal events!

Friday, August 14, 2024 $30 Advance | $32 Day of Show Doors 7pm | Show 8pm Jontavious Willis is resolved in his mission: to reinvigorate today’s Blues with the spirit of the past. Inspired by a time when the Blues were plentiful and rhythm reigned supreme, Jontavious leverages his unique sound—a synthesis of his Georgia heritage and reverence for traditional Blues—to get the world dancing again. A Grammy-nominated musician and songwriter, Jontavious performs original, toe-tapping tunes in the style of Delta, Piedmont, Texas, and Gospel Blues. Dynamic vocals, technical prowess, and an abundance of Southern charm keep Jontavious sending jolts of vitality through the Blues community. Jontavious was born and raised in rural Georgia, an environment with deep cultural roots that provides the inspiration he has continuously drawn upon to create his unique sound. He spent much of his childhood singing Gospel music at the Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church with his grandfather, which provided him his first setting to perform for an audience.
