FALL RIVER — Looking to make some fun summer plans? You won’t have to look very far.
In fact, you only need to look right here in the city, with the imminent return of Fall River’s water taxi.
Relax with a day at the waterfront, cruising the Taunton River and seeing some local favorite sites. For a low price, you can grab a ride on the water taxi, take in the scenery, and even hop off for a bite to eat by the water.
Borden Light Marina rolled out the service last year, which connects to a city-run trolley tour of Fall River highlights.

When does the water taxi launch?
The water taxi’s second season will begin on Thursday, June 26, according to a June 18 Facebook post by The Tipsy Seagull.
What is the water taxi?
The water taxi is a service by Borden Light Marina and takes visitors along the waterfront.
