Presented by Viva Fall River, the City of Fall River, The Tipsy Toboggan, Canned Heat Craft Beer, Stumpy’s Hatchet House, and the Chowda Heads Racing Team, Winterfest is all about coming together to enjoy the best parts of the season.
What’s Happening!
Meet the Champs:
Fall River’s own Chowda Heads Toboggan Racing Team returns from the National Championships with their award-winning toboggans. Learn about this unique winter sport and see the sleds up close.
Photo Moments & Special Guests:
Enjoy winter photo stations, selfie spots, and appearances from festive seasonal guests—including Holly & Jolly and a few other winter surprises.
Winter Entertainment:
Ice carving, live musical entertainment, and classic wintertime fun throughout the afternoon. And if the snow sticks around some real winter fun!
Kid-Friendly Activities:
Viva Fall River and the City of Fall River will host winter-themed activities designed to keep younger guests engaged and entertained.
Winter Comforts & Food:
• The Tipsy Toboggan’s Winter Garden serving seasonal bites and specialty beverages
• Chowda Heads’ signature clam chowder and stuffies
• Coffee, hot chocolate, and warm cider available throughout the event
Axe Throwing at Stumpy’s:
Stumpy’s Hatchet House will be open with complimentary axe throwing and additional activities during the festival.
