Positive Self Talk Workshop
February 18 @ 6:00 pm
Positive self-talk refers to the practice of consciously using optimistic and constructive language when speaking to oneself, either in one’s mind or out loud. It involves replacing negative or self-defeating thoughts and inner
dialogue with more encouraging, affirming, and empowering statements. Positive self-talk can have a significant impact on one’s mental and emotional well-being, as well as their overall outlook on life.
We will:
- Practice ways to be more confident in our thoughts and actions
- Discuss why “Comparison is the thief of joy”
- Take time to write our accomplishments and future goals
- Share ways to build our self-esteem
This workshop is presented by the Katie Brown Educational Program.
