Fall River Celebrates Arts, Culture, and Community! Join in the fun as the Greater Fall River community comes together in a unified celebration of the power of the arts and culture to make a difference and change our lives, and our City, for the better. FREE fun for ALL AGES, taking place in the areas around the Government Center (S. Main St and Sullivan Drive, at Pocasset) >> Visit Old Second Street and attend a an artisan marketplace curated by the Fall River Farmers & Artisans Market! 40 of the area's top makers, crafters, artists, and more! >> On Sullivan Drive (closed to traffic): Food Trucks, entertainment from local dance groups, free arts and crafts for all ages, games and activities for kids, and the Neal McCarthy Band playing from 1:30-3:30 PM (Presented by The Narrows Center for the Arts). The City of Fall River in collaboration with Mass Audubon are excited to announce Wings on the Watuppa Reservation: Birdwatching in the Bioreserve. This is a free event on Saturday, May 25th, at the Watuppa Reservation at 2929 Blossom Road, Fall River, MA. The rain date will be June 1st. This event is made possible with funding through the Massachusetts Office of Outdoor Recreation. Registration is required and space is limited. Binoculars and educational materials will be provided to registered participants. To sign-up for this event please visit: https://www.massaudubon.org/programs/allens-pond/92779-wings-on-the-watuppa-reservation. The event will be hosted in four timed sessions: Session 1: 8AM Session 2: 9AM Session 3: 10AM Session 4: 11AM Trolley transportation to the Watuppa Reservation is available from the Third Street parking lot. To utilize the trolley service please sign up using the trolley registration form found in your event registration confirmation email. Parking is also available on site. Please remember to wear supportive footwear and dress comfortably for the weather. With the majestic Braga Bridge illuminating the night and the gentle flow of the Taunton River nearby, indulge in a feast for all senses. Bring your appetite, grab your loved ones, and join us for a night of fun, food, local music and beverages at this iconic location! Enjoy a dozen or more food trucks at each event from a rotation of over 65 food trucks.
