October 5, 2025 Brownie Craft & Tinker and Fling Flyer
– Join us at Battleship Cove as we teach you about aerodynamics and how the science of flight has changed over the last 150 years. Girl Scouts will make their own fling flyer and determine if their invention can soar through the skies. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to create your own catapult and learn about mechanical engineering. Trial, error, and rebuilding are the key lessons to problem solving and crafting solutions! Open to Brownie Girl Scouts. Both the Brownie Craft and Tinker Badge, and the Brownie Mechanical Engineering: Fling Flyer Badge, are included. This does not include touring of the ship as this is an afterhours workshop. This is not a drop off event. No workshop fee for adults.

October 19, 2025 Junior Craft & Tinker and Geocacher
– Join us at Battleship Cove as we explore the world of geocaching and all the hidden secrets this up-and-coming hobby has to offer. From hidden pirate treasure, Army corps projects, and civilian fun, learn what it takes to be a geocacher and create your own to be hidden in your community. Furthermore, Girl Scouts will learn about why choosing the perfect location is key; is a metal ship really your friend? Open to Junior Girl Scouts. Both Junior Craft and Tinker and Junior Geocacher Badge are included. This does not include touring of the ship as this is an afterhours workshop. This is not a drop off event. November 2, 2025 Cadet Space Science Researcher
– Join us at Battleship Cove as we study one of the fastest things in the universe, light! Light travels for millions of miles, which we use to trace shapes in the night sky, or it can melt our ice cream. Girl Scouts will learn that there is more light than meets the eye and gain a deeper understanding of the light we use every day. Additionally, you will learn how your eyes work in low light and how to protect our skies from light pollution. Open to Cadettes. Cadette: Space Science Researcher badge included. November 23, 2025 Daisy Create & Innovate and Mechanical Engineering Roller Coaster
– Join us at Battleship Cove as we learn about roller coasters and how they have made such an impact over the last 100+ years! From WW2 morale, saving animals, and partnering with NASA, Girl Scouts will take what they have learned, and problem solve to create their own roller coaster to test and take home! Open to Daisy Girl Scouts. Daisy Create and Innovate and Daisy Mechanical Engineering: Roller Coaster Badges are included. This is not a drop off event.

December 14, 2025 Brownie Space Science Adventurer/ Daisy Space Science Explorer
– Join us at Battleship Cove as Daisies and Brownies come together to investigate the complexities of the sky and learn to see things in a new way. Girl Scouts will learn about what surrounds planet earth. Additionally, Girl Scouts will learn about the moon and how the phases/ rotations affect its neighboring planet. Just like how different moon phases happen every day, Girl Scouts will learn about the different constellations you will see in the sky based on the season. Daisies and Brownies will be split up periodically to focus on different badge aspects and work on correlating activities. Open to Daisies and Brownies. Daisy: Space Science Explorer and Brownie: Space Science Adventurer Badge included (for corresponding Girl Scout level). This does not include touring of the ship as this is an afterhours workshop.
