Girl Scouts will learn about our Solar System and the distance between planets. Additionally\, because the planets are never alone in the night sky\, Girl Scouts will learn about the stars above them and how sailors used the stars throughout the last centuries to navigate at night. Open to Juniors. Junior: Space Science Investigator Badge included. This does not include touring of the ship as this is an afterhours workshop. This is not a drop off event. Girl Scouts will learn about what makes each person special and different and how they can use their differences to tell a story. Just like Wonder Woman and Captain America\, everyone has a conflict they must face and resolve. Girl Scouts will work as a team and create a story board comic book strip that would have been used in a magazine\, newspaper\, etc. and discuss with one another how they would have incorporated major life events into their artistic work. Open to Cadettes. Cadette: Comic Artist and Find the Common Ground Badge included. This does not include touring of the ship as this is an afterhours workshop. This is not a drop off event. Furthermore\, Girl Scouts will learn about how different surfaces can impact their design. Can they take what they have learned and race their model car on the ultimate track? Girl Scouts will learn about the fundamentals of becoming a detective and solve the “crime” that has taken place on the Battleship. But before the Girl Scouts can solve the mystery\, they must become one with the time period and transform themselves into detectives from the 1940s! Open to Juniors. Junior: Playing the Past and Detective Badge included. This does not include touring of the ship as this is an afterhours workshop. This is not a drop off event. A visit to the Battleship that sounds fun and normal\, comes to an abrupt halt when the Girl Scouts find themselves in the middle of a heist. Using their investigative skills\, finding the clues\, and interrogating staff\, can they solve the crime and find what has been taken? Open to Cadettes. Cadette: Special Agent Badge included.
