The New England Lace Group was formed in 1982 by a group of bobbin lacemakers who wished to interest others in this beautiful historic handcraft. The purpose of the group is to promote to the general public an interest in the study, history, collection, and making of all varieties of lace.
We welcome anyone who is interested in making, collecting, or studying lace. This includes (but is not limited to) bobbin lace, crocheted lace, hairpin lace, knitted lace, needle lace and tatted lace.
Event supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Arts Council and the Fall River Cultural Council.
